Here is a list of financial aid programs and the dates when you should apply for them.

California College Promise (BOG Fee Waiver)

• FAFSA and CADAA available starting Oct. 2
• Apply no later than June 15

Cal Grant

• FAFSA and CADAA available starting Oct. 2
• Apply no later than May 2, 2024, for the 2024-2025 school year. (The deadline has been pushed back for this year only. (It will return to the usual March 2 deadline in 2025.)

Chafee Grant

• FAFSA and CADAA available starting Oct. 2
• Apply no later than March 2

Federal Direct Loan

• FAFSA available starting Oct. 2
• Accept student loans by June 7
• Complete loan requirements by June 14

Pell Grants

• FAFSA available starting Oct. 2
• Apply no later than June 30

Scholarships

• Use AcademicWorks to apply online
• Apply no later than Feb. 2

SEOG

• FAFSA available starting Oct. 2
• Apply no later than June 28

Work-Study

• FAFSA available starting Oct. 2
• Apply no later than June 28
